Important Information
- Go to lab with requisition form, and ask for the specific urine collection device.
- The patient should not have urinated for at least one hour prior to specimen collection.
- First-catch urine (1/3 cup) free of any preservatives.
- Female patients should not cleanse the labial area prior to providing the specimen.
